Ride Away Rentals – Rules & Policies
At Ride Away Rentals, we are committed to providing reliable vehicles while protecting our customers and our fleet. Please review the following rules before renting:
Vehicle Permissible Use

No towing, racing, or illegal activity.

No transporting passengers or cargo for hire.

Unauthorized drivers are not permitted.

Daily mileage limit: 200 miles (unless unlimited mileage is purchased); $0.25 per extra mile.

Vehicles must remain within a 75-mile radius of Houston unless authorized in writing.
Dash Cam & GPS Policy
Our vehicles are equipped with dash cameras and GPS tracking devices to ensure safety and protect company property.
Tampering, disabling, unplugging, covering, or removing equipment will result in:

Immediate repossession of the vehicle

Forfeiture of deposit

Potential legal consequences
Damage, Theft & Liability
Renters are responsible for:

Vehicle repairs
-
Missing/damaged parts
-
Loss of use
-
Towing and administrative fees
Threats toward staff will result in immediate forfeiture of the deposit.
Vehicle Permissible Use
Ride Away Rentals may repossess the vehicle if:

GPS/dash cam is tampered with
-
False documents are provided
-
Illegal activity is suspected

Payment is not made
-
Vehicle leaves the designated radius without permission ( vehicles are not allowed to leave Houston without WRITTEN permission )
Keyless Entry
At Ride Away Rentals, 75% of our vehicles are equipped with keyless entry technology. This means you are not given a physical key to start or access the car. Instead, you’ll receive secure access through our mobile app, which allows you to:

Lock and unlock the vehicle from your phone

Start and stop the engine without a traditional key

Enjoy a smooth and contactless rental experience
This system provides extra convenience for renters and helps ensure a higher level of security for both you and the vehicle.
